Last summer, the Story Lorry family had a blast launching the mobile bookstore biz. We looked forward to each market, meeting great people and talking great books. Then we blinked and summer was over, and we realized that we hadn’t spent a single weekend hiking or camping or splashing in a lake.
Therefore, as much as I LOVE bringing the Story Lorry out and seeing all your friendly faces, I’ve promised myself and my family to take off one weekend per month this summer, so we can enjoy this beautiful state we live in.
This upcoming weekend (June 9-11) is one of those weekends, so don’t expect to see the Story Lorry at Farmer’s Market. She will be sleeping in while her people go out on an adventure.
We’ll see you next week, and hope that you , too, find balance between work and play this summer!
