We have our “patriotic” lit on display today, since the Story Lorry family camps in the mountains, far from the bangs and booms, on the 4th of July weekend (the irony that the tradition we chose to celebrate our freedom brings on ptsd in those who fought to maintain that freedom).
We also pulled out some Native American and African American books, because caucasian faces shouldn’t be the only faces represented on America’s birthday.
