For the shortest month in the year, How Novel’s calendar has never been so full!
Firstly, remember that the due date for submitting art for Youth Art Month is on February 13th! (My initial announcement said February 14th, but that’s a Sunday so we’re closed. If you were depending on having that extra day, let me know and I’ll figure out a way for you to drop off on the 14th.) Any high school aged artists are welcome to participate!
Secondly, How Novel is hosting its first adult art class, Adult Drawing: Still Lifes. The first of the four week series is February 17th at 6PM. Please contact me to pre-register ASAP so I can save your spot and order the correct number of supplies!
Of course we have our standard monthly events: Art Critique (Feb 16th), How Novel’s Choice Book Club (Small Gods on Feb 18th), and the Banned Book Club (The Handmaid’s Tale on Feb 23rd).
It’s the hardest part of winter… holidays are over and the cold doesn’t seem ready to release its icy grip on us any time soon… lets speed up the month by participating in some fun, new activities!
